Sports Museum
The Sports Museum, located at the West Entrance of the National Stadium, was established in 1983. Its three main objectives are: to serve as a repository for sports objects of historical, aesthetic and scientific importance, to inform, educate and entertain the public of Singapore's sporting heritage, and to honour our local sports heroes and heroines. The Sports Museum includes the development of sports from colonial times to Singapore's independence, Olympic sports, traditional and indigenous games and the Hall of Fame and Roll of Honour galleries, which commemorate and celebrate the acheivements of our world-class athletes. |
